Harrision returns for his third season as our first choice between the posts. A very capable keeper, ready to come off his line with a good eye for shot stopping and commanding in and around the box, the whole team are again reassured to have him as the last line of defence. He has put in a lot of extra training over the last year and his development is clear to see.
Returning for his fourth season, Mateus brings enthusiasm, energy and a great attitude to training and match days. He has a formidable presence in in the centre of the pitch being very accomplished as either Centre back or at the heart of defence and we are confident that he will again have a great impact on squad winning many 1v1 battles.
Michael will be playing in his fifth season with the club this year. His impressive close ball control and dribbling skills combined with his composure anticipation in intercepting makes him a solid member of our defensive line up. His speed and increased strength will also be well placed in the defensive role as we look to build on his confidence in leading & commanding the defence this season.
Harry returns for his second season with the squad after a successful first season with us. His close control ball skills, strong left foot, eye for a pass & shooting ability makes him a versatile player amongst the team. We continue be pleased with his energy and effort in training and matchdays and are looking forward developing his football knowledge further over the course of the season.
Oliver returns for his fourth season with Salisbury FC Youth. Oliver has benefited from game time over the last couple of years and is now much improved in his decision making in front of goal with increased composure and timing of runs. He will continue to be a really dangerous member of the team this season particularly with his determination, speed and in combination with our play making midfield players.
Leighton returns for his second season and
The last remaining member from the original U7s squad. Now in his sixth season we are excited to see Rory develop amongst this new squad and continue to lead by example on the pitch in his play making role, with his creative passing, an eye for a long range effort, reading of the situation and breaking down the oppositions attacks and protecting his defence. The opposing keepers this season will need to be on top form to keep out his long range efforts.
Manager - Sixth season with the team and really looking forward to both the team and individual development this year and the merging of the two squads.
