Salisbury FC Youth Girls Tournament a Great Success Again!
The sun shone down on the 'Raymac' Stadium today, Saturday 10th May, as we hosted our 6 a-side girls football tournament for the second time. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with a great supportive energy as spectators cheered on their teams.
We welcomed teams across five age groups, from Under 9s through to Under 13s. Each team battled it out in their group stages, with some truly impressive football on display from all the talented young players. The top four teams from each group then progressed to the semi-finals, culminating in thrilling final matches.
Adding to the fun was our very own Chalkie, the club's panda mascot, who was on hand to entertain everyone throughout the day.
It was a truly beautiful day, made even better by the delicious hot food provided by the ever-busy Anna and her crew. Young and old alike were also drawn to the massive sweets stall and the ever-popular ice cream van – perfect treats for a day of exciting football!
A massive thank you goes out to all the incredible volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make this tournament another resounding success. We couldn't have done it without you!
We would also like to send a huge THANK YOU to our fantastic sponsors who us so much to provide football for children in the Salisbury area.
The football fun continues next weekend as we look forward to hosting our mixed tournament U7 to U14, where we are expecting a fantastic turnout of 112 teams. We can't wait!

Get your orders for digital photos in as soon as possible, but please note that Michael will not be able to send the files out until he has completed the processing of all days of the tournament. He is also away on holiday between 30 May and 7 June.

After the incredibly positive feedback last year, the tournament will again include a dedicated competition for girl teams!

The girls tournament will be played on Saturday, 10th May and the traditional mixed 6-a-side will be the following weekend 17th and 18th May 2025. Times and dates per age group can be found on the following pages.
Last year's tournament marked a new milestone with over 150 teams competing against each other in the fantastic atmosphere of the Raymond McEnhill stadium. The majority of our participating teams are regulars who return year after year.
Like before, the younger age groups (U7 - U10) will have the opportunity to enter the pitch through the players tunnel with their team names announced over the tannoy and displayed on the score board, just like little professionals.
All referees will, of course, be fully qualified. There will be stalls for the children and parents to enjoy in between games, as well as hot and cold food and drinks available all day. Unfortunately, dogs will have to stay at home.
Programme and car parking on site will be £5.00. Entry per team is £60.
We look forward to seeing your teams run out on the pitch and have an enjoyable weekend celebrating youth football.
