We are the Under 10 Girls Cyclones
Welcome to Salisbury Youth, Under 10 Girls’ Cyclones team page! Our Under 10 Cyclones team grew from a small group of mixed aged girls who use to train together on a Sunday morning who had grown a love of the girl's football game, after the lionesses' euros win. As the group got bigger it was time to split up and form the current youth girls team you see at the club today.
The Cyclones play on a Sunday morning in the South Wilts mini soccer league. This is allowing the girls to grow and develop as players in there footballing skills but also as people with their communication and teamwork. The coaching staff and parents couldn’t be prouder of how far they have come.

Our away shirt sponsor is Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm. The farm is a great family day out that originally opened over 36 years ago and was one of the first rare breeds survival trust approved farms. So, as well as having a jam-packed list of activities on each day the farm also does vital work to preserve rare breeds. A big thank you to Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm who always love hearing how the girls a getting on throughout the season.

The U8 Whites Coaching Team
James Knight, Manager
James is a lifelong Salisbury FC supporter and always wanted to get more active within the grassroots game. James is a level 1 qualified coach but is still new to the club having started his coaching journey at the beginning of 2023.
James is highly passionate about growing the women and girls' game and looks forward to every training session and match to see the smiling faces on the team come win or lose!
Andrew Tucker, Coach
After a (far from) very mediocre attempt at playing as a goalkeeper in amateur and semi-pro football, Andrew took up coaching following injury. Amongst others he has coached or managed at Dulwich Hamlet, Croydon and Banstead athletic. As well as coaching and scouting for Charlton Athletic in their academy. He was previously Director of football at the Cedars school in London.
Having taken a hiatus from coaching when his children were young, his daughter joining the Cyclones has provided the opportunity to whip out the clipboard and pretend to know what he’s talking about again.
